About Us

JAB Engines was formed in 2022 with a vision to provide the Greenville Area with full service machining. Jeff’s passion and vision started as a kid with a love and appreciation of cars and then a gratification for rebuilding them and enhancing their performance. “It’s that feeling you have when you envision something, and then watch it come to life.” His son Alan sharing in on that same passion to envision starting a business with his Dad. In 2016, starting the process to bring that vision to life!

Meet the Owners

JEFFERY ALAN GOOLSBY (Jeff), President

Jeff Goolsby was born and raised in Homestead, Florida and has lived in the Greenville area for forty plus years. He began his career by attending Greenville Technical College, where he gained his Associates Degree in Machine Tool Automotive. From there in 1989, he started at Kemet Electronics and worked there for 18 years and transitioned over to GE Aviation Electronics, where he retired after 12 years.

Jeff is the founder and President of Jab Engines. As one of the founding owner’s, Jeff implements the vision, and strategically oversees the logistics with his son and partner Alan.

JOSEPH ALAN GOOLSBY (Alan), Partner, Business Manager, Machinist

Alan brings many years of business and leadership experience to JAB Engines, as well as his learned machining trade from his father, who introduced Alan to his passion as a young kid. In 2007, he joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country for twelve years. His leadership experience comes from a diverse background from the Marine Corps, his time as a Drill Instructor at Paris Island, as a Combat Veteran, and his Plant Supervisor Roles out of the military. In 2022, Alan graduated with his Bachelor’s in Business from Palmetto College.

Alan shares all of the shop’s responsibilities with his father, however takes on the project management, accounting, marketing, and sales side of the business.
